We are proud to have been involved in many significant projects, during the last ten years, for the following Clients:
– STX EUROPE TULCEA – ROMANIA – (click to expand)
STX EUROPE TULCEA is the first Customer we have had, with a contract concluded in 01.12.2008.The contractual obligations implied the performance of complete welding jobs, with the use of our own equipment.
The task involved 20 FCAW Welders and 1 Foreman, and consisted in welding of couplings between the block sections, on several vessels.
The work accomplishment has been sustained by Technical delivery, Visual inspection and Surface preparation on tanks and vessel compartments.
We were involved in the project of STX EUROPE BRAILA with personnel working for NB 1190 and 1193, in the period of January-July 2009. We used 40 steel fitters and 20 FCAW and SMAW qualified welders, working under the supervision of 2 Foremen and 1 Site Manager.
The assignment consisted in mounting and welding works in cargo tanks, ballast tanks and double bottom section. As result of good collaboration with the Customer, we managed to meet the necessary dead-lines, and fulfill our obligations accordingly.
– STX EUROPE SØVIKNES – NORWAY
As our first Norwegian Customers, the shipyard in SØVIKNES requested our collaboration with providing of FCAW Qualified welders, in order to perform task assignments on an hourly-rate basis.
As requested by our Customer, we used as mandatory procedure the sending of basic documents for the personnel, including Standard CV and Welding Certificates, in order for the employees to obtain the official approval from SØVIKNES, before their mobilization in Norway.
We have performed welding works for NB 1702, 1705, 1718, 1725, 1728 and Skaidi Hammerfest. The personnel were mobilized following a rotation plan of 6 weeks work/3 weeks off, which was adjusted according to the Customer’s needs and requirements.
– STX SHIPYARD SUPPORT-BREVIK – NORWAY
Our support to the shipyard in BREVIK comprised the provision of GTAW, FCAW and Oxy-Flame Welders, as well as Pipe fitters and Sanitary fitters, to provide works according to the Customer’s requirements. The work provision was stated in individual International Working Contracts, based on which Working permits were issued with our Customer’s support.
The welding and fitting jobs have been performed on NB 33, 66, 67, 68, 69.
The personnel were mobilized following a rotation plan of 6 weeks work/3 weeks off, which was adjusted according to the Customer’s needs and requirements.
– VESTNORSK ENGINEERING AS – NORWAY
In the period of September-November 2009 we have participated to the project led by VESTNORSK ENGINEERING AS, with workforce consisting of FCAW and GTAW Welders, Steel and Pipe fitters.
The personnel have been involved in job assignments, as contractually agreed, at the premises of PROMEX – Braila, and in BERGEN – ÅGOTNES for works performed on BORGLAND DOLPHIN project, based on an hourly-rate concluded contract.
As supplementary assignment, a competent delegate of S.C. NORSTEEL INTERNATIONAL S.R.L. has also performed, at the premises of PROMEX – Braila, the Factory Acceptance Test – comprising Dimensional inspection of mechanical equipment, Visual inspection and Function test – on behalf of DOLPHIN AS, for the project Bulk Loading Stations for BORGLAND DOLPHIN.
– STX BRAILA SHIP-REPAIR – ROMANIA
The contract implied works on ‘LITTLE PRINCESS’ vessel, such as: fitting works on the vessel’s shell plates and frames, FCAW, SMAW and oxy-flame welding works.
We have had 7 steel fitters and 3 welders to work for this project, mainly performing works for shell plates and frame replacements, works on double bottom, secondary deck and bulkheads, manufacturing and mounting of manholes on ballast tanks, mounting of zinc anodes on ballast tanks, manufacturing and mounting of draft marks.
Our activity related to the cooperation with GLEIPNIR AS is so far based on producing and delivering of lifting equipment. The sequence of delivery was according to the received documentation, as follows: – April 2010 (DL 12 Te – 5 pcs. Block house); – September 2010 (Reeve ø370 – 10 pcs. Block house); – November 2010 (Reeve DL 10 T – 10 pcs. Block house); – February 2011 (DL100T – 2 pcs Block House)
The products have been delivered together with complete documentation according to ISO 9001:2008 standards. Final delivery has been done in Førresfjorden – Norway
– TOMREFJORD RØR OG MONTERING AS – NORWAY
The first contractual agreement with TOMREFJORD RØR OG MONTERING AS – NORWAY was concluded in April, 2009. There are 2 assignments that we accomplished for our Customer:
1. Winch rolls for NB 724 and NB 725
We have insured the production of 2 sets of 3 winch rolls each (total weight of 13288 Kg/set), on behalf of TOMREFJORD RØR OG MONTERING AS. The rolls have been delivered accompanied by complete documentation according to ISO 9001:2008 standards. Final delivery location has been Brattvåg – Norway.
2. Fresh Water Cooling System for NB 705, 726 and 727
The assignment consisted in fabrication and delivery of pipe systems, with a total weight of 5888.5 Kg, including Fresh Water Cooling Systems for NB 705, 726, 727 and a Chilled Water System, according to the documentation received from the Customer.
At delivery, the Products have been accompanied by corresponding documentation for Quality, Insurance and transport, according to ISO 9001:2008 Standards.
Our collaboration with PROCUT AS – Norway started in July, 2009. Up to present, we have participated to 3 of the company’s projects:
1. Stainless steel brackets for the Brevik tunnel in Oslo (July 2009)
The project for producing stainless steel brackets was contracted, on behalf of PROCUT AS NORWAY. The brackets were produced in Romania, and after the commissioning performance, we delivered them to Oslo-Norway, together with the required documentation, in conformity with ISO 9001:2008 standards.
2. Bicycling and walking Bridge in Brønnøysund (June 2010)
The services provided to PROCUT AS – NORWAY extended up to FCAW welding and back gouging works for the bicycling and walking bridge at Norstrømmen – Brønnøysund, construction No. 18-2710.
The bridge was produced in Romania and our job has been the final mounting, including Welding procedure and provision of NDT Control of the welds. The practical assignment was sustained by relevant documentation, complying with ISO 9001:2008 Standards. The final NDT control also provided the Customer with complete documentation thereof.
3. Steel flanges for Forsvarsbygg (September 2010)
For the steel flanges project we followed the same procedure as in the case of stainless steel brackets. We contracted the production process on behalf of PROCUT AS, and performed the final delivery to the Customer’s premises in Isfjorden – Norway.
– TIMBLO DRYDOCKS PVT LTD. – INDIA
The contractual assignment for TIMBLO DRYDOCKS PVT LTD. consisted in building of 1 stern tube with a total weight of 2400 kg. The task involved the collaboration of PROMEX – Braila, Romania, at which premises the stern tube has been built.
Delivery was done in March 2011, at the final port of dispatch NHAVA SHEVA MUMBAI – INDIA.
